    1) One person who is a godly example in my life is my husband Clay; I want to imitate his fearlessness. Another person is my co-author Pam; I want to imitate her boldness online.
    2) I am working on pressing forward in ministry, especially in writing.
    3) I am leaving behind old ways of doing things and a regret I can’t do much about. Funny how hard it is to let go of it!

My Pastor is a godly example in my life I want to be able to talk to anyone about The Lord. His wife Trisha is another godly example she is always so pleasant and willing to help everyone and always one of the first people to strike up a conversation with a visitor to our Church. I am always willing but not always bold enough to start a conversation with someone I don’t know.
I am working on getting to know our Lord better and learning how to lets things of the past go and only focus on going forward in the Lord
I felt joy in learning new ways to do things that are much more efficient than some of my old way. I also let go of some old regrets on things I had hoped to accomplish and decided to be Joyful in the Lord for things that have happened to me

      1) Wonderful!
      2) So am I! We continually get better at it as we grow in the Lord.
      3) Praise the Lord for this!

      Hi, Patti!
      1) How wonderful to have a godly husband now and 2 wonderful neighbors when you were in HS.
      2) Wonderful!
      3) Yes, only God’s opinion matters. Once when I was feeling the weight of other people’s judgments, I memorized 1 Corinthians 4:1-5. I pray that the Lord bless you with being able to consider others’ judgments “a very small thing,” like Paul did. <3

    1) Carole Lewis (Author Speaker and former First Place For health director) Has endured loss and tribulation and maintains an attitude of gratitude and an example of true Joy. Her book A thankful Heart is a fantastic book to read to learn how to be thankful in all circumstances.
    2) I am working on standing firm in the knowledge that our earthly Journey is not always comfortable but the prize for sticking to the Truth through the difficulties is where I can find true Joy!
3)Leaving behind a desire for “perfect” allows me to enjoy “good enough”!

1: There is a couple that my husband and I have become wonderful friends with. I have observed that no matter what happens good or bad they always keep their heart and eyes on God with full trust. I am working on the trust they have by digging more and more into the Word.
2: I need to keep working on the end goal which will be in my Father’s arms.
3: I have learned to step out of my comfort zone and started a ladies evening of fun and fellowship.
