Is Your Church Looking for a Women’s Bible Study?

Discovering the Bible Series

Every summer, church leaders head to bookstores to find the perfect women’s Bible study to use the following year. They want a study that new believers can complete without feeling lost. Yet it should have enough depth to challenge seasoned Christian women who have studied the Bible for decades. Also, the lessons should be short enough for busy moms. Finally, they want plenty of practical applications so their church members do the Word and not just read it.

That’s what our Discovering the Bible study series offers. They all have five daily lessons that new believers will find accessible, as well as short, encouraging devotions to spur them on. Additionally, they have sidebars with theological and historical details that mature Christians crave, but new believers can skip. Plus, all the daily lessons take just 20 to 25 minutes, but have options for those with more time. Topping it off, every chapter contains many ways for readers to apply what they’ve learned to their lives.

But that’s not all. Illustrated verses draw readers in and let them know each chapter’s key topic immediately, making the lessons feel doable. Moreover, readers who want to memorize the key verses effortlessly can color the illustrated verses while repeating the words. (After all, studies show that the more senses you engage when trying to memorize, the more quickly you learn.) Furthermore, on the book’s website, we provide a leader’s guide, worship music to accompany lessons, and lots of creative and practical extras.

In each women’s Bible study, best-selling author Pam Farrel contributes a you-can-do-it devotional. Also, amazing artist Karla Dornacher offers another inspiring devotional as well as gorgeous illustrations. Lastly, I write the five daily lessons that dive deeply into God’s Word and the even deeper sidebars.
